This scholarship is spearheaded by the Priority Clinical Centre for Cardiovascular Health in Australia under the close supervision of Dr. Lucy Murtha and Professor Andrew Boyle.
The scholarship program aims to provide a high level intensive research in the field of cardiovascular health. This scholarship awards individual with top rating research skills to pursue an investigation project in modulating cardiac fibrosis which is a common linkage to every cardiac ailments. This project will give a clear prognosis to the disease cardiac fibrosis in a new model standards of medication.
It gives supports to the PhD investigative researchers by giving a full time living allowance worth $26,682 per annum for three years. The chosen awardee of the scholarship will become part of the prestigious research team group of Hunter Medical Research Institute.
