Scholarship details
The University of Vermont is offering scholarships for its undergraduate programmes to international students. The scholarships are awarded for a period of four years and vary from $8,000-$18,000. The specified amounts are available for out-of-state international applicants. For locals, the funding provided by the university varies between $2,000-$7,000.
In order to qualify, prospective candidates need an average score of 2.8 in their first year and 3.0 in the years after that. The university is strict about its students having sufficient proficiency in English so that they may thrive in the academic environment.
To this end, the University of Vermont will see that its candidates pass either a TOEFL or IELTS exams. The results must be then forwarded to the Office of Admissions.
The minimum TOEFL iBT score is 90, and IELTS score is 6.5. It is useful to know that international students are considered for several scholarships on offer at the University of Vermont.
