Swansea University offers is the 2014 winner of the Excellence Framework Award, which is also named to be part of the top 200 universities all over the world. The university is particularly an expert in research, named by The Times, Sunday Times Good University Guide, and Welsh University as one of the top 30 Research-specialist universities in the world.

Funded through the Welsh Government European Social Fund, this KESS II Funded MSc Research Studentship Program is focused on the basic mechanics and theories that could be applied in the improvement of the Polymer Microneedles manufacturing process. More than just enhancing the entire process, the study also includes the conducting of the producing testing to learn the effectiveness of theory application in using stencil and microscopy.

The studentship program will be under the College of Engineering of Swansea University. The student who will be awarded with the scholarship will have the chance to work with the research and development team of the university. More than this opportunity, the program also offers 1-year funding and 3-month support for thesis completion. It also offers the tuition fee and annual stipend that amount to a maximum of $11,500, along with additional funds for research purposes.

Students will be eligible for the scholarship if he at least holds an undergraduate degree of Physics of Engineering. With 2.1 GPA, he should also possess PSDA (postgraduate skills development award, which is a 30-credit based award.
