Are you a graduate student applying to commence study at The Michigan State University? Then apply for this MasterCard Foundation Scholarship which is targeted at students from African countries only. The MasterCard Foundation is in collaboration with Michigan State University to provide fully funded grants for school to students from Sub-Saharan African countries.
This scholarship is targeted at students who wish to enroll for undergraduate and graduate degree programs at the Michigan State University, United States.
The Michigan State University which is informally called Spartans was founded in 1855. It is a public research institution located at East Lansing, Michigan. The MasterCard Foundation will give $45 Million USD to Michigan State University. This grant for school will be used to finance the degree program of about 185 students who are willing and intending to commence study in the coming academic year – 2018/19.
Under this scholarship, scholars can study any degree course offered by the Michigan State University. 100 Undergraduate students and 85 master degree students will benefit from this scholarship program.
Candidates who are academically outstanding and economically handicapped are encouraged to apply for this scholarship award offered by MasterCard Foundation. This scholarship will last for the full period of the candidates’ study. The number of scholarship is not specified though and students on transfer are not qualified for this scholarship award.
The application deadline for this scholarship is 1st February 2018. After this date, applications sent for this scholarship will longer be considered eligible.
