Scholarship details
The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is a great offer for students who are pursuing their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Under this programme, you will be entitled to a partial tuition fee scholarship.
Naturally, you will have to demonstrate academic excellence that merits the scholarship in either an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree. The campus is located in Australia and it covers a number of subjects, including Engineering, Environment, Human Science, Media, Linguistics and Education.
International students from any country, bar ASEA, a European country, Mongolia, Australia or New Zealand, may apply.
The scholarship is estimated at $10,000 AUD and it will take care of part of your tuition fees. This scholarship is a one-off payment and is not renewable.
It is important to note that the scholarship will not offer to cover additional expenses such as living costs, visa and so forth.
A list of requirements follows:
- As a successful candidate you will have to meet the English language requirement set by the university ;
- You will also need a GPA ranging between 5.0 out of 7.0 possible.
- You will need to apply for a programme that continues longer than one session;
- You will only be considered eligible for the scholarship in the event of applying for a full-time course
There are two deadlines, for Session 1 and Session 2 respectively. The deadlines are 31 January and 30 June. The official website is found here.
