The University of Copenhagen offers a scholarships to doctorate students called the The Laurits Andersen Foundation. The university of Copenhagen is located in Denmark, this university is the second oldest institution of higher education.

The Scholarship offers a fully financed PhD position for three years in the field of business and organizational anthropology. International applicant are welcome to apply on this scholarship.

International applicants must be proficient in English language as well as communication excellence. There is no specific number of award for this scholarship, this can only be taken in Denmark.

They will pay a PhD students a salary(no specific amount) this is according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. For a period of three years the PhD student has a work obligation for up to 840 hours without additional pay.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following given criteria,

At the time of your application, student must possess a postgraduate degree in anthropology or a close related discipline form Danish or any international university, must have completed a two year MSc degree program, or have earned 120 ECTS credits at a comparable academic level.

If a student have a knowledge in Danish language, society and business is an advantage but they do not required this. Work experience from a business or professional practice may also be an advantage.

Deadline for application is  November 1, 2017, at 12:00-noon Danish time (GMT+1). Personal or Skype interviews with prospective candidates may be held.
