Scholarship details
John Duvall was a loving father, a great son, and a friend to all. He was a committed man who fought until the end and inspired others through his battle with cancer. As a way to honor his courage, John’s two sons established the John Duvall Memorial Scholarship to help others in the name of their inspiring father. The scholarship was made possible through the efforts of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.
The scholarship amounts to $2500 and is open to degree-seeking students who has been affected by cancer directly or through an immediate loved one. The applicant must also be financially in need and accepted or enrolled to the University of Maryland, Townson University, Elon University, of the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Interested individuals may apply for the scholarship by filling out the general application form and submitting it to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. Other supplementary documents may be asked by the scholarship provider to serve as proof for the claims.
