Scholarship details
In order to honor the efforts of Jeffery P. Meyer, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults established the Jeffery P. Meyer Memorial Scholarship. Jeffery served as an inspiration to others with his endless courage and positivity that affected others to make them better versions of themselves. Although his life was taken away by cancer, his passion for other will be immortalized by the scholarship.
The scholarship amounts to $2500 and is open to students who are currently battling or have already won the battle against cancer. The applicant must display the same values of positivity and courage as depicted by Jeffery P. Meyer himself.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be a citizen of the United States with an age ranging from 15 to 39 years old. The student must also be attending a university on a four-year degree. For this specific scholarship, the applicant must have experience in being a volunteer or being employed in a task related to community service.
To apply for the scholarship, a general application form must be fill out and submitted to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. For inquiries, individuals are also free to send an email to the organization.
