Scholarship details
Jamie L. Roberts always had the passion for creating positive change among the people around her. She lived a life supporting cancer patients in every possible way that she could, but her life was cut short while participating in a 4K cross-country bike ride for Cancer patients. She died in service to her commitment and as a way to immortalize that passion to help, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults established the Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship is presented annually to deserving young students affected by cancer personally or through a direct loved one. The number of recipients will depend on the number of teams that would be participating in the annual 4K for Cancer ride.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be a US citizen aged 15-39 years old. The applicant must also be attending a university or a four-year college, pursuing any degree. To apply for the scholarship, interested individuals must only submit a general application form to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.
For more information regarding the scholarship, interested individuals may head on to the website of the scholarship provider or contact the organization through the official email.
