Asian Origins from China, India (South), India (North), Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam are encouraged to apply to the James Cook University Merit Scholarships in Singapore. It is a merit based scholarships available to the Bachelor and Master’s Degree programme.
Originally the James Cook University is located in Townsville, Australia as the mother school which extends its branch school in Singapore.
The University is widely known for its craft excellence in research and academic teaching. It endowed the mixture of modern and classic way of global standard of teaching and it produces top notch graduates which gained an excellent career positions recognized by its reputations.

Standard English Language proficiency level is a major requirement. Applicant must be able to show proof of language test.
Scholarship awards are within the specifications listed below:
- 100% scholarship on academic year
- 50% scholarship on academic year
- 25% scholarship on academic year

In order to qualify for the scholarship applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Must pass the Cook University academic entry requirements
- Be able to complete application form including scholarship application form and relevant documents
- Take note that the eligibility criteria varies depending on country
