The University of Alberta has opened application for International Entrance Leadership Scholarships. Scholarships are granted to students who are entering their first year of an undergraduate study programme. A good command of English is require of non-native speakers of the language. The scholarship is offered for the subjects covered at the University of Alberta.
Overall five scholarships estimated at $5,000 each are up for grabs. In order to be considered eligibile, each candidate will need to be enrolled and be about to begin their first year of undergraduate study. They will also need a Study Permit if they are foreigners. Additional criteria for shortlisting the candidates include their involvement in extracurricular activities and how much of leadership they demonstrate.
