The Institute for Current World Affairs is an Institute that cultivate potential young professional immersing to study of country, region or a worldly issues to be the become the leader of their related fields. Moreover the years, the Institute offering scholarship program to take advantage upon helping young professionals to study the different culture and norms for a specific country. They are the leaders of developing a research management skills to all young professionals around the United States. The Institute for Current World Affairs aims to teach deep expertise in foreign countries, norms and cultures for about 2 years of period. The ICWA did not support any degree programs at any Universities.
ICWA is now currently looking for a candidates who are willing and prepared to take the advantage to grab the opportunity but somehow possess professional experience. This fellowships dreamed to enhance and developing knowledge professional skills.
Eligibility
Candidates must have the necessary language skills. Candidates that proposes to go to China, Russia, Indonesia, India, or Brazil, for example, should have proficiency in Chinese, Russian, Bahasa, Hindi (or another relevant language) or Portuguese. At least 36 years of age. American citizenship is not a requirement however, the candidate must show strong and credible to US community to have a better communication in terms of their accent. The candidates should at least adapt the norms, culture, trends from the US and that is one of the primary objective to get along with the US culture. Applicants should have a good written and oral communication of English. Currently enrolled undergraduate students are not allowed for the scholarship.
Restrictions:
The fellowship program is set to covering current events to any countries but the ICWA will will send fellows to any war zone countries or with a security concerns to prevent local populace.
The institute will provide all the financial support for the fellows and to their accompanying families. The fellows are expected to live and spend modestly.
