The Hitachi Foundation is an independent, nonprofit philanthropic organization founded in 1985 with an endowment from Hitachi, Ltd. The Hitachi Foundation is opening a scholarship program for Hitachi Research Support Program, inviting all applicants who is a faculty members of eligible universities in Southeast Asia.
This scholarship aims is to provide a good opportunity for young researchers, and is available to pursue research programme.
Scholarship is awarded in the following fields, Energy, Environment, Urban Development, Transportation, and Healthcare. A maintenance allowance worth 54.32912$ USD per day and for monthly it will be 1629.9036$ US Dollar. A round trip airfare ticket between the nearest airport of the grantee’s university and the airport in Japan, all the expenses are shouldered by the program. Also include the expenses to visit the foundation.
There is no exact specification for the numbers of scholarship,This scholarship can be taken in Japan.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship the applicants must be a PhD holder, a Faculty member of one of the eligible universities, must be under the age of 46. Applicants from of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam can apply for this scholarship. They required that the candidate must have a very good command in English language.
Applicants can apply through their email, just submit a typewritten Application Form in Microsoft Word Format , submit a photo taken within the past 6 months, 4.5cm x 3.5cm size, Certificate of PhD, Letter of Recommendation, Letter of acceptance.
