The University of Auckland in New Zealand was founded 1883. The university is the country’s biggest university which has 4,000 enrolled students. Dr. Andrew Greigh Jeffs, one of the faculty member of Marine Science of the university created the scholarship for the students to study on Helping Saving the Rarest Birds in the New Zealand. The research will conduct and investigate the food supply of the coastal seabird to feed its cheeks. The research will captivate information of the seabirds are being caught, their origin some understanding and distribution and the abundance key prey species for these rare birds. The research will be conducted in a two wild coastal area where the birds are being nested annually.

Eligibility

Candidate must be a highly capable students both academically and practically to take the research. You need to be a highly capable student both academically and practically to be funded to undertake this unique research project.  Top marks in marine or terrestrial ecology to MSc of BSc(hons) level would be required.  Must have a field researching experience.

Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a full tuition fee for 3 three years. There will be a living allowance (tax free) while conducting the research.
