Scholarship details
The New Hampshire Association of Septage Haulers is an industry created under the profession of septic system pumping and maintenance, installation, and repairs which is built by an association of leaders committed to uphold the environmental responsibility in disposal practices. The professional association is guided by the federal and state standards.
The Scholarship qualifies applicants who are high school students preparing for college level that comprise two-years, four-years, or trade school. Students who are currently enrolled as part-time or full-time college students are also eligible to apply.
Applicants must be any immediate family member (spouse, child, grandchild, parent) of a NHASH member who has a good standing may apply for the scholarship for any secondary education. The same rule also applies to the immediate relationship for qualified NHASH Associate member of any related business or organization to study any related secondary education though anyone from the general public without family links in NHASH members are also encouraged to apply provided that a degree in any environmental science field is pursued for the study.
The NHASH scholarship committee will select the recipients after eligibility has been met according to financial needs, academic merit and other non-academic factors such as work experience, community services, sports, clubs and activities.
Note that the scholarship will be paid to the school after the completion of the first semester and at least 3.0 GPA must be met.
