Scholarship details
Undergraduate students who are willing to study in the United States has the biggest chance to apply to the Global Leadership Incubator GLI Scholarships. The scholarship is being awarded by the Department of Education or DoE d the CTA is the one who grants the award to the scholars.
Based in Dharamsala in India, the Department of Education which is one of its major seven departments had been eager enough to provide scholarships to Tibetan students to pursue their college education in the United States. Though past historical data showed that community was in exile but modern partnerships pave way for students to gain their US access.
Application is open until January 11, 2018 and is awarded in the undergraduate programs. Subject courses can be chosen from among the courses offered in the University located in United States. This scholarships is intended to all students of Tibet who are qualified for the 75% and above (mark sheet copy) upon graduation by 2017.
Applicants may fill up the online application form and must attach the following documents prior to the deadline date on January 12, 2018.
- Must secure a copy of TOEFL Scores with 90 and above.
- Must be able to include a copy of Registration Certificate (RC).
- Original copy of Green Book including Parents.
- Secure a copy of Travel Document (Identity Certificate).
