Scholarship details
The Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE) is now offering its generous scholarship offers. The scholarship will target particular groups of pupils, including in the Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and North America regions.
Let us have a quick look-through the technicalities here. First, the deadline applies until 9 April 2018 so make sure to apply by that date. The Institute has allocated about GDP125,000 in scholarships which is a rather generous offer.
This sum covers all scholarships which will be handed out during the 2018/2019 academic intake. A number of scholarships are also available. They will all be tenable in the United Kingdom.
Students from Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, North America and the UK/EU may apply. There is a variety of single scholarships and for a complete list you will do well to check up with the official website.
Just as a basic guidance, you need to know that some scholarships stretch up to GDP3,000.
The scholarships are really of varying degree and validity. However, to qualify for any offer, you will still have to demonstrate good English skills. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge certificates are all quite acceptable.
