The Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences or GELIFES of the University of Groningen and the Department of Coastal Systems (COS) of the Royal NIOZ are accommodating applications for Ph.D. scholarships. Scholarships are designed for the excellent, highly motivated Ph.D. students with an intense interest in evolutionary biology, behavioral ecology, or animal personalities.

Offering Four years of the full-time position with a specifical pension, an 8% of vacation allowances and a bonus year-end employment conditions. All international Citizens are eligible to apply.
Criteria are:
- A Ph.D. Students at Royal Nioz a field and lab work
- Answering several types of research, specifically on behavioral strategies.
- English communication skills
- Cooperative mindsets and flexibilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Team cooperations ready to take part of a multidisciplinary team, cooperative mindset, and broad interest.
