Masters and Ph.D. Positions are now open to all international students at The McGill University. Positions are granted in Comprehensiveness of Community-based Participatory Modelling for Environmental Management.
Position aims to develop pathways for the improvement presence of traditional and Indigenous people’s points of view in the management of natural resources such as water resources.
The scholarship position will be covering the funded Master’s and Ph.D. program, and all travel expenses will also be funded. The successful student will take up the scholarship in Canada and field research will be accompanied in Pakistan or Mayan Guatemala.
The students must have an experience in computer science, water resources management, agricultural engineering, social sciences, agricultural engineering or other related fields. A grade average of 3.6 or above, an interest in any community participation. A strong desire and proficiency for improving skills in computing Python for data management and scientific programming. An English certificate based on the knowledge of spoken and written English. Linguistic abilities must be able to speak one language of the chosen study site, knowledge of GIS software is a plus. Students must also have the ability to work independently.
