Way back in the year 2004, the government of Korea spearhead in establishing the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology or called DGIST. It is a public research institution located at the center of Korea which aims to promote the science and technology advancement. Today the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology is among the four public universities in Korea together with the KAIST, GIST, and UNIST.

At present the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology is now on its wave in accepting all scholarship applicants called the Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students at DGIST in Korea. The scholarship is open for all International students in Masters and Doctorate level.

Scholarship Grants

  • Full 100% tuition fee for graduate students
  • An education and Research stipend
    PhD: worth 13,680,000KRW + ? / year
    MS : worth 7,440,000KRW + ? / year
  • DPF (DGIST Presidential Fellowship)
  • Special scholarship amounting to 3,000,000 KRW / semester
    Research scholarship: Max. 10,000,000 KRW
    Study abroad scholarship: Max. 16,584,000 KRW

All Masters and Phd scholars are expected to finish their course scholarships by February 2018. No test requirement id needed in order to apply which is open to all International students but English proficiency is a must.
