Scholarship details
Kazakhstan’s Postgraduate Scholarship offered by the University of Nottingham in partnership with the Bolashaq Programme for the academic year of 2021-2022 is now open for high-achieving students who will be commencing their post-graduate degree in the United Kingdom. The University of Nottingham provides an international education for the students and is focused on research with the choices of the student’s degree program.
The University is one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom that allows every student to choose the right courses that will be suitable for their career growth and develop their personal skills and knowledge that they may be needing towards their future career. Most students admitted at the university are those international students who are seeking more developments and affordable education but the top of the quality in terms of giving the right knowledge. The students are choosing their courses according to what matches up to their academic aspirations and by customizing their coursework at the university.
The Bolashaq Program provides full-tuition fees or fully funded scholarships for deserving international students, most especially the Kazakhstan students to study or continue with their master’s degree or Ph.D. degree at any accredited university in other countries and should be returning to work in Kazakhstan.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, the students must be from Kazakhstan and must be admitted to the University of Nottingham. To be admitted, the students must meet the following criteria required by the university:
- The students must be classed as Non-Uk or Non-EU
- Must be holding or must achieve a score of 2.1 or equivalent to UK undergraduate studies, the students who have these criteria will be considered 50% on the scholarship until reached the funding limit for the program.
- Hold first degree criteria, the students who have these criteria will be considered for the funding of the Excellence that will be providing a 75% or 100% scholarship until the program reaches the funding limit.
Application Process
To be able to apply for the scholarship program, the students must be admitted and complete the online application form provided by the university. The students are required to submit their supporting documents such as:
- Academic Transcript of Records
- Recommendation Letter
- Certificates
- They may be requiring an essay
- An English Certification
The students whose first language is not the English language must submit their English Proficiency Test Score during the application.
Scholarship Award
The deserving students who will be receiving the scholarship award will be awarded up to 100% fully-funded scholarship. The students will be notified through their email.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline for the application is until October 28, 2021. Kazakhstan’s Postgraduate Scholarship will be offered annually.
