Loughborough University is pleased to announce that beginning in October 2022, it will provide up to five full-fee postgraduate teaching Scholarships and three undergraduate Scholarships to students from Ukraine who are assessed to be at risk. Applications are currently being accepted for the Scholarships for Teaching English to Ukrainian Students initiative. Up to five full-fee post-graduate teaching Scholarships and three undergraduate Scholarships will be considered for entrance from students from Ukraine in October of 2022. The scholarships are offered by Loughborough University and are intended to provide financial assistance to citizens of Ukraine who are currently living in Ukraine on a full-time basis or who would normally dwell in Ukraine but were forced to relocate in 2022.
The scholarship will pay the student’s tuition expenses for the full-time undergraduate or master’s degree program that they choose to enroll in. Applicants who are selected to move forward in the process will be accountable for their own maintenance expenses during the course of their studies.
About the Scholarship:
Loughborough University can trace its origins all the way back to a modest technical institute that was formed in 1909, and these roots may be found in the town of Loughborough. Loughborough University and the University of Oxford are the only two universities in the world to have ever received the prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize seven times, each for their extraordinary contributions to applied research. Loughborough University was awarded the prize seven times, while Oxford University received the award only once.
The campus of the university covers a total area of 440 acres and may be found in the middle of Loughborough, which is located in England. Eligibility for Scholarship.
- The candidates’ applications will be evaluated based on whether or not they satisfy all of the following criteria:
- are either currently living and studying in Ukraine or were living and studying in Ukraine not too long ago but have been forced to flee the country.
- Maintain either a conditional or an unconditional offer to study for a degree at Loughborough, either at the undergraduate or the graduate level.
- Not currently receiving any other scholarships or sponsorships, including those from Loughborough University (a student loan from the government of the United Kingdom is an acceptable alternative)
European Union Institute (EUI) Senior Fellowships provide a platform for established students with an international reputation to continue their research at EUI. There are four departments at the European University Institute, each of which offers a ten-month fellowship. You are encouraged to participate in departmental activities as part of the fellowship (seminars, workshops, colloquiums, etc.).
