Servco, in partnership with the Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation, established numerous scholarships as a way to support students committed to the power of education. The foundation, founded in 1950, has helped over 400 students already with $160,000 worth of scholarship being handed out every year. Currently, the Scholarship program would be supporting students intending to pursue a career in any business-related field by providing $5000 every year for a 4-year course, totaling to $20000 in assistance for the whole duration of the program.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have graduated from a school in Hawaii, may it be a public, private, or charter institution. Homeschooled and graduating students in High School are also eligible for the scholarship. A 3.0 GPA or higher will be required of the applicants while school involvement will also be taken into consideration. The applicant must also be a resident of the State of Hawaii.
