Global Foundation for Democracy and Development is a non partisan and non-profit institution that aims to help in the improvement of global collaboration and exchange that is important to Dominican professionals, institutions, and general audiences both abroad and homeland. This foundation is responsible for conducting researches, including designing public policies, improving public understanding, and devising strategies. GFDD offers a great scholarship, in collaboration with FUNGLODE, through the Fellows Program. This program aims to provide voices on United Nations’ issues, both the regional and national ones, as well as domestic and international problems.

The objective of the program is to be able to support M.S., M.A., and PhD candidates in their pursuit for better research and education through critical links.
