The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) Fellows Program is a scholarship assistance that offers opportunities for M.S., M.A., and PhD students the chance to be able to conduct high level research in the Dominican Republic. This research covers issues when it comes to sustainable development.

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development is a non partisan and non-profit institution that aims to help in the improvement of global collaboration and exchange that is important to Dominican professionals, institutions, and general audiences both abroad and homeland. This foundation is responsible for conducting researches, including designing public policies, improving public understanding, and devising strategies. It also offers building capacity for sustainable developments crucial in different areas, including cultural, democratic, economic, and social.

GFDD offers a great scholarship, in collaboration with FUNGLODE, through the Fellows Program. This program aims to provide voices on United Nations’ issues, both the regional and national ones, as well as domestic and international problems.

The objective of the program is to be able to support M.S., M.A., and PhD candidates in their pursuit for better research and education through critical links. The research must be on topics connected to the economic and social development of the Dominican Republic. The fellowship aims to establish a community of scholars that can help in the expansion of academic research.

The program can accommodate students chosen by universities who will be perfect for the enhancement of high-level researches. This includes issues like economic and social development, including global governance and environmental issues.
