Scholarship details
European Molecular Biology Organization is an organization that compose of 1700 leaders in terms of research which promotes study in the life of science. The primary goal of the organizations is to help stimulate the exchange of scientific information, support talented young professionals and build a research environment. EMBO aims also to help young scientist to enhance their research skills, promote their international works and ensure their excellence. Long term fellowships will be awarded up to a 2 years support post doctorial scholarship program to research visits to laboratories throughout around the world. The applicants outside Europe countries or applicants nationality must be a member of EMBC Member States.
Application and required documents are only accepted through online applications process. All then will be evaluated by EMBO committee based on the previous scientific achievements of Novelty and Biology significance of the study proposed.
Applicants must be a doctorate degree holder and licensed and it should have at least 1 book as author that published or accepted in press in an international review journal. The nationality of applicants must be a member of EMBC Member States. The application will be held in the laboratory, institute or department which the candidate work to obtain his doctorate degree. There were only 1 application for one project per applicant.
Long Term Fellowships will be awarded up to 24 months of period depending on the positive interim request. The stipend is subsistence allowance which intend to cover cost of living for the host of the country.
EMBO will also funded for a dependent child allowance to applicants who has a children of under 18 years of age.
There will be 2 evaluation period per year. The first evaluation will be on May and November respectively by the EMBC- Long Term Fellowship Committee. Announcement of the Awardee will be on the first of June and December respectively.
