ETH Zurich supports outstanding students who wish to pursue a Master’s Degree at ETH via two scholarship programs; the ETH-D Scholarship and the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Program (ESOP).

Scholarship value/duration/inclusion
The Excellence Scholarship is made up of a grant which covers living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester) including a tuition fee waiver.
The ETH-D Scholarship is made up of a partial stipend for living and study expenses (CHF 7,500 per semester) including a tuition fee waiver. The department will also support by providing an additional scholarship of CHF 3,000 per semester or provide an assistantship (with a payment of CHF 500-600 per month)
Both the ETH-D and Excellence Scholarships will begin with the Master’s degree program and is provided for the regular duration of the Master’s program; this would be either three or four semesters.
Eligibility
The ETH Zurich Excellence Masters Scholarship is available to outstanding students from ETH and other national and international universities who wish to pursue their Master’s degree at ETH Zurich.
One of the prerequisites for eligibility is an outstanding Bachelor’s degree result, i.e. top 10% of the Bachelor’s program. Another is reachability under the provided telephone number.
Application instructions
For candidates to be considered for the scholarship they must apply for a Master’s degree program at the ETH Zurich. The scholarship application form and every other supporting document are expected to be submitted before 15 December 2019.
