Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this scholarship, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
1. Intend to pursue a full-time Master’s degree at the University starting in the 2024 academic year.
2. Have obtained a minimum 2.1 Honors undergraduate degree.
3. Open to both EU and non-EU applicants.
Please note the following ineligibility criteria:
1. Graduates or current students of doctoral or master’s programs are not eligible to apply. If you are interested in research programs, you should apply for Maynooth University’s John and Pat Hume Ph.D. Research Awards.
2. The scholarship competition is not open to those who have already started a taught master’s program.
3. Research Masters programs are not eligible for support under this scheme. Students interested in research programs must apply for the Maynooth University John and Pat Hume Doctoral Research Awards.
4. Maynooth University graduates can apply for both the Maynooth University Alumni Scholarship and the Taught Masters Scholarship. However, if successful in both, the candidate can only accept one of these scholarships.
English Language Requirements for Non-EU Applicants:
If you are a non-EU applicant, you will need to meet the English proficiency requirement of IELTS or an equivalent score of 6.5 or higher.
