Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Offers Undergraduate, Master’s or Doctorate Scholarship in Various Areas for successful international students .

The Foundation supports young talents who want to advance their personal development and be among the best in their field. The Foundation seeks people committed to socio-political objectives. The Foundation particularly supports students with limited financial opportunities or who come from families with a migrant background.

Package Offered:

  • The scholarship offers up to € 744 per month.
  • In addition, there is a fixed monthly study fee of 300 euros, which all academics can use freely.
  • Depending on the applicant’s situation, academics can also receive a contribution to medical insurance of up to € 71 and to long-term care insurance of up to € 15 per month.
  • Students with children can receive a family allowance of 155 euros per month.
  • The scholarship does not have to be repaid.

Requirement (s):

  • Applicants must be persons committed to society, for example, in active participation in student council, youth work, participation in associations and NGOs or political organizations that are appropriate to the principles of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
  • Those who have previously been enrolled in a German university are not eligible.
  • Applicants must possess: Socio-political commitment and identification with the values ​​of social democracy. Performance above average in school and studies; political thought; thirst for knowledge; tolerance and openness; capacity for teamwork; critical thinking and self-reflection.
  • Applicants for basic Bachelor and Master courses must have: Confirmation of place of study or certificate of enrollment in a state-recognized or state-recognized German university or technical college for the course for which they wish to receive funding.
  • Foreign applicants must also demonstrate sufficient skills in the German language.
  • First-year students (German and foreign educated students) must apply before or at the beginning of the first semester.
  • Applicants for PhD funding must have: Unconditional notification of admission to the PhD scholarship
