Scholarship details
The University of Pittsburgh, USA invites everyone to have a go at the PhD degrees now available up for grabs. The candidates who qualify for the scholarship will be able to carry out an oral defence of their work.
In its pursuit of expanding the scientific frontiers, the University of Pittsburg recognizes all sorts of researchers who can prove they are worth their salt. What the award is worth:
- The annual stipend is worth $47,475
- $4,000 in annual research and travel allowance is also available
- In order to cover for moving expenses, the scholarship will also allocate a one-off payment to the tune of $1,500
- Successful candidates will be granted a free access to the University libraries and recreational facilities.
There are specific application deadlines that will have to be observed to the letter if candidates want to make the cut. Applications must be submitted by 5 PM EST on Friday, February 16, 2018.
