Due to the high and continues request for German University lecturers in the Sub &Saharan regions in Africa. There is a need to coach the young African graduates on German studies; this is to enable them qualify for a career as academics of German, making them ready for an instructional lecturers in the near future.

Eligible Criteria:

Applicants must possess a B.sc Degree in German or DAF(in the major or minor).

Must be proficient in German language skills at level B2

A sound academic record

Applicants must write a convincing letter explaining in a professional tone  the reason as to why you want to study the course.

Candidates will be requested to submit their applications through the DAAD portal, where they will be interviewed by the DAAD office in Nairobi( Note: this will either be on a phone or Skype).

After the applications have been screened by the group of experts,  the final selections  will follow. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Value of Scholarship:

– There will be a monthly stipends of €240 for( Kenyans) and a €380 for (non Kenyans).

– University fees

– Travel allowance for (non Kenyans)

– Annual Research allowance and insurance for( non Kenyans).

How to apply:

Only successful candidates will be qualified to be admitted to study for the Masters programme.
