Victoria University of Wellington is one of the most prestigious and oldest tertiary institution in New Zealand. Victoria University bringing up a world class teaching, research and engagement of the global mindedness of its location around the world. Founded in 1897, the institution has been a leader as the capital city university and a civic university in the country.

In partnership with Victoria University of Wellington, The Curtis-Gordon Research Scholarships in Chemistry were established by Gerry Gordon, The Scholarships were established through the Victoria University Foundation. The main objective for the scholarship is to encourage students to undertake chemistry and research.

Deadline for application is on November 30. All information and requirements needed for this program should be submitted completely.

Eligibility

The program will be granted to students who wish to entrol in Chemistry in the BSC (Hons), MSC or PhD Deggree in the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences in Victoria University of Wellington.

Benefits

The total value fund will be decided and approved by the committee of Victoria University of Wellington.The total cost of the scholarship is $6000 per annum for the for the students who will undertake MSc and PhD course, meanwhile $3000 total cost for BSc I(Hons) and MSc per annum.

The shortlisted applicants will be reviewed by the Head of School of Chemical and Physical Sciences.

The successful candidates are encourage to write a letter of thanks to the donors by end of the year progress report.
