Scholarship details
As a way to provide support to students deemed worthy of a scholarship, the California State University Bakersfield, in partnership with CBIZ MHM, LLC, established the CSUB CBIZ Accounting Scholarship. CBIZ MHM is a financing company which is why the scholarship aims to reward outstanding students in the field of accounting.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting while contemplating on pursuing a future career in the same field such as public accounting. The scholarship is merit based and students who will be performing excellently will get the higher chances of receiving the scholarship. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and must be a full-time enrolled student in the upper-class division. The scholarship will not be based on the financial state of the applicant and the committee will look purely into the capabilities of the applicant.
The amount of the scholarship will be determined once the committee has decided on the recipient already. The deadline for submission of the general application form of the CSUB CBIZ Accounting Scholarship is at November 30, 2018.
