The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research and Organization or CSIRO are now offering scholarships for a top-up Ph.D., in the amount of primacy topic areas for finance beginning in 2018.
Top up Ph.D. Scholarships are obtainable to Australian Citizen and postgraduate students who have increased or expect to increase their knowledge, first class honors or equal in relevant research areas.
The CSIRO believes that by a real issue can be solved by Science, their research creates a change to the industry, people, and the planet.
Scholarship can be taken in Australia, to pursue the Ph.D. programme. Anticipated research projects from students applying for a Synthetic Biology FSP scholarship must support with one or more of the SynBioFSP’s Application Domains and one or more of the Science Domains.
The scholarship amount is up to 5,500$ US Dollar per year and up to 7,900$ US Dollar per annum.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship a student must be a first class honor or an equivalent in the research area, admission to an Australian University as a Ph.D. student, research training program or university awarded on a competitive basis or RTP scholarship, must have a proper immigration approvals for students.
Students must have a project that aligns with one or more of the SynBioFSP’s Application Domains, a CSIRO supervisor who will co-supervise the student, a university supervisor that is willing to co-supervise a student as well.
The deadline for application is November 14, 2017.
