Founded in 1920, Swansea University is one of the most reputable universities in the UK. Swansea University is a UK top 30 institution for research excellence (Research Excellence Framework 2014). Swansea University has been named as Welsh University of the Year 2017 by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Start date of the project is January 2018. The project aims at incorporating a reduce order technique within and established CFD software to enable the rapid assessment of the effect of geometry on the flow structure. Dr. Ruben Sevilla, Professor Oubay Hassan, and Professor Ken Morgan will work with the group.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math or related subjects
  • Programming experience is desirable

  • Applications are welcome from International Students on the understanding that the difference between the fees awarded (£4,500) and the international fee rate would be met by the successful candidate

The studentship is for the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees (£4,500), plus a stipend of approximately £15,000.
