Scholarship details
If you are a Zambian student who wants to take their Master’s degree in the United Kingdom, there is good news for you right there. Applicants may now apply for the Commonwealth scholarships which are bestowed to candidates who want to study in the United Kingdom. The scholarships are designated for the 2018/2019 Academic Year.
The scholarship is a fully funded one and it offers up to eighteen masters and eleven PhD degrees which is quite generous.
There are several criteria that every prospective candidate should fulfil in order to be eligible for the scholarship:
- You need to be a Zambian citizen;
- A permanent resident of Zambia;
- You need not to be registered as a PhD student or a MPhil student as of yet.
Now, as to the application itself, you will have to type up your own application letter and respond to the university’s advertisement. You will have to outline how your participation in any one of the programs will further enhance the prospects of your country as a result. The goal of the scholarships is to help you contribute the most to your country.
The deadline is closing fast! You will need to apply by January 19, 2018.
