The University of Glasgow is presently inviting applications for College of Arts Scholarship Competition for the year 2018 for all international students.
This scholarship is to pursue the Ph.D. program and to learn in the field related to Art. All international students are eligible to apply.
The University of Glasgow is known to be the fourth oldest university in the English speaking world and also one of Scotland’s four prehistoric universities.
College awards may be applied for in all Schools or Subject Areas:
- In the School of Culture & Creative Arts (SCCA): Cultural Policy, Music, Theatre, History of Art, Film & Television Studies
- In the School of Critical Studies (SCS): Creative Writing, Theology & Religious Studies, English and Scottish Language & Literature.
- In the School of Humanities (SOH): Archaeology, Classics, History, Humanities Advanced Technology & Information Institute, Philosophy, Celtic & Gaelic.
- In the School of Modern Languages & Cultures (SMLC): Comparative Literature, French, German, Hispanic Studies, Czech, Italian, Polish, Russian, Slavonic Studies and Translation Studies.
Scholarship can be taken in the United Kingdom, and there are no specific numbers of scholars and amounts.
Only Ph.D. can apply for this scholarship, and must not be holding any scholarship. Students are also required to provide an evidence of English proficiency if English is not your native language. Students applicants must hold an unconditional or conditional offer of a place on a College of Arts Ph.D. degree program.
