Scholarship details
The Winston-Salem Foundation is pleased to offer the Clyde and Martha Aldridge Scholarship open to graduating High School students at the Reagan High School. The scholarship amounts to $1000 and can be applied by a student who would be pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in an accredited institution.
Aside from being a Reagan High School senior, the applicant must also be under the Winston-Salem Foundation’s service area. The applicant must also have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 while showing proof of extracurricular activity such as school varsity teams in High School. The applicant must also be financially in need of an academic scholarship but this category will not be the sole basis for the scholarship.
The amount that would be included in the scholarship must be used for educational expenses such as tuition fees, and other materials that the recipient may need to buy for school.
In order to apply for the scholarship, the applicant must accomplish the online application form while providing supporting documents such as grade transcripts and federal tax returns. Aside from that, one letter of recommendation must also be submitted together with the rest of the application documents.
