A great chance for International students under the PhD programme awaits applications at the Scottish university. This scholarship is called Carnegie PhD Scholarships for International Students at a Scottish University. No restrictions given regardless of nationality and residency location as long as the student applicant has possessed qualities needed by the organization. The applicant must be among the First Class Hounours from the undergraduate degree, this make the applicant automatically listed for the scholarship qualified applicants.

Established in year June 7, 1901, the Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland was created by the respected man named Andrew Carnegie. Since then the University was incorporated by Royal Charter in year 1902. A generous Trust donor funded the amount US$10 million which yield a sum of £100,000 annually. This was way back time when the Scottish government provide assistance to the four universities with only a £50,000 in one year.

Annually, the Trust provides scholarship grants to a number of PhD students who wish to proceed to postgraduate degree for three years in line with the Research program at the University of Scotland.

The applicants can submit their applications along with other requirements before the deadline date on February 28, 2018. This is a Doctoral Degree in any field as long as being offered by the University.

A proof of English proficiency is needed to comply for the non-native English speakers.
