Scholarship details
The Thomson Foundation in London in the United Kingdom is preparing to launch its latest scholarship opportunity, which will cover students and professionals who have a keen interest in reporting the news with the help of digital technologies. All applicants must be 18 years old or older.
International journalists attend the Thomson Foundation’s digital and multimedia course every summer in London in order to improve their grasp and understanding on how technology can be used to deliver the most accurate and objective news.
The award of this learning opportunity is estimated at GBP11,000 and it will allow the successful applicants to attend a series of masterclasses, workshops and practical trainings to advance their own understanding of the field of journalism.
Everyone is welcome to participate as long as they meet several criteria:
- You are working or studying to be a journalist;
- You are over the age of 18;
- You have delivered a full and complete application form
