Join other African students in applying for this Australian Government scholarship targeted for African students only. This scholarship is available to earn a Master’s degree education in Australia. The application deadline set for this scholarship is 15th December 2017.

It is a scholarship that is offered annually by the government of Australia. All African countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship. It is important to know that scholarship can be taken at any African or Australian Universities.

The eligible courses to study are dependent on the countries. Courses which are offered are education, Agriculture and food security, Environmental management, Infrastructure, Natural resource management, Public policy, Transport, Energy.

Upon graduation from this postgraduate degree program, candidates are expected to go back to their native country to contribute to the socio-economic development of their country. This Australian scholarship program has been offered by the Australian government since 1980.

Applicants must meet the minimum general eligibility requirements so they would be considered for this scholarship program offered by the Australian government.

This scholarship program is not for male students alone, female students are strongly encouraged to apply as the Australian Government respects the need for gender equality and has put some mechanisms in place to support female candidates.

This scholarship program is meant to fully sponsor the postgraduate education of about 1,000 candidates. It is durable throughout one’s period of education for any course they are applying for.
