The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders’ Fellowships (Sylff) are offered every year from the returns of an extremely liberal enrichment got in December 1991 from the Nippon Foundation (at that point known as the Sasakawa Foundation). The reason for the Program is to give a chance to learn at any New Zealand college for graduate students who show authority characteristics or show high potential for future administration in either public or private life.
The scholarship is offered to exceptional students at any NZ college, for study in research about in either a Masters or a Ph.D. degree in an extensive variety of discipline, gave the research is in the wide fields of Humanities (i.e. the investigation of human culture, particularly writing, dialects, history, workmanship, music, and reasoning) or Social Sciences (i.e. the logical investigation of any part of social conduct as well as the working of society). Competitors whose degree developers don’t seem to fit in these classes, yet who feel that their research qualifies them, will be requested to legitimize this view in their applications. Research proposition that is centered around contemporary issues and is forward-looking, with an interdisciplinary angle, might be favored.
The deadline for application is until October 1, 2018.
