Scholarship details
Taylor’s University is proposing a scholarship called the ASEAN Tourism Scholarship to pursue master and Ph.D. programme. Their aim to produce graduates with a responsible character with the essential knowledge and skills for professional and national leadership.
The scholarship is for Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Brunei and Cambodian citizen.
The scholarship is for Master and Ph.D. programme, awarded in the related field to ASEAN tourism.
For the Ph.D. the scholarship will cover the 100% tuition fee for a maximum of 36 months or three years, 100% Theses exam fee waiver, a Monthly stipend of 550$ US Dollar to 660$ US Dollar. Settling- in the allowance for international students worth 355$ US Dollar, a conference allowance worth 142$ US Dollar.
For the Master, the scholarship will cover the 75% tuition fee waiver for a maximum of 24 months of full-time studies, 100% thesis exam fee waiver, a monthly stipend of 355$ US Dollar.
Master
Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 3.00 from any recognized local or foreign universities
Research proposal must narrate a relevant to the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (ATSP) 2016 – 2025 priority areas
Below 45 years of age
Secured offer letter of Master’s Degree
Applicable to candidates on full-time
Interview and written assessment are mandatory
PhD
Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 3.33 AND Master’s Degree Coursework or Mixed mode with CGPA of 3.50
Research proposal must be related and relevant to the ASEAN Tourism Strategic
Below 45 years of age
Secured offer letter of Ph.D. admission at Taylor’s University
Applicable to candidates on full-time
Applicants with publications in Citation Index Journals (CIJ) will have an added benefit
Interview and written assessment are mandatory
