Scholarship details
The Tutu Leadership Fellowship Program is specifically designed for African leaders in consultation with African faculty and advisors in Oxford. The scholarship provides participants with intensive training and helps to broaden their experience on the principles and application of leadership, and gives an opportunity to explore the issues and particular features of leadership in Africa.
The program will be putting emphasis on learning and experience, rather than teaching, providing a wide range of formal and innovative informal learning opportunities to improve the leadership capabilities of the candidates.
Selection criteria:
The fellowship places strong emphasizes on integrity, courage, responsibility, strong values, and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to Africa with the intention of serving the greater community. The fellowship is meant for leaders and not managers.
Selection process:
There are only 20 fellowship places available hence competition is tough.
