Scholarship details
The University of Glasgow is putting forth Alexander Ogilvie Postgraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is granted yearly to a student who has effectively acknowledged a place to pursue their studies Scottish History inside the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow at postgraduate level in the 2018-19 academic year. The scholarship is granted to study Scottish History inside the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow amounting up to £2,000.
All international students are eligible to apply for this scholarship, the student must have a good verbal and written command in the English language. All application must be composed in the English language.
Interested applicants must submit the following documents needed by the university:
- The full applications they made for pursuing a postgraduate study in Scottish History inside the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow, including current CV and two references in academics.
- Proof of acknowledgment of the offer to attempt postgraduate study in Scottish History inside the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow.
- An individual statement of close to 500 words setting out the candidate’s research advantages in Scottish History.
All documents must be sent to the Head of the Scottish History Area, Dr Catriona Macdonald. The deadline for submission is until August 24, 2018. The committee will review all the applications and the decision will be made by the following weeks after application.
