Scholarship details
The Alan Musgrave Master’s Scholarship in Philosophy offers help for the outstanding international students to pursue towards a Master’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Otago.
Applications are available to international students, who don’t fit the bill for their tuition fees, proposing to enroll full-time in the year following choice, either in a one-year BA (Hons) in Philosophy took after by a Master’s degree by proposition in Philosophy, or in a Master’s degree by theory in Philosophy.
Candidates must be:
- International students who do not meet all requirements for tuition fee expense rates
- Plan to enroll full-time in the year following determination, either in a one year BA (Hons) in Philosophy took after by a Master’s degree by postulation in Philosophy, or in a Master’s degree by theory in Philosophy

Please note that the scholarship comprises of a full discount of educational cost charges in addition to $15,000 per annum to be paid for a month to month stipend. If by chance that the beneficiary pulls back from or finishes the endorsed course of concentrate at the University of Otago during the residency of the scholarship, all installments will stop and no cash discounted to the students.
