Students from ASEAN nations are invited to apply for Ajinomoto scholarship grant in Japan. ASEAN students from the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam or Russia seeking Maters degree are eligible to apply. The scholarship can be taken from one of the the following universities namely, University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Nagoya University, Ochanomizu University, Waseda University and Kagawa Nutrition University.                    Ajinomoto Scholarship aims to attract potential leaders from members of the ASEAN nations. This will equip the students to lead Asia in the twenty-first century world. The scholarship will likewise strengthen the mutual understanding of Japan to the specified countries.
One student from each 6 mentioned countries will be fortunate to receive the scholarship and study at the best universities in Japan. The scholarship grants are as follows:
• The research student at the graduate school will receive 1,338 USD per month for a year;
• Master’s degree student will have 1,606 USD per month for 2 years
• Examination, admission and tuition fees are covered in full
• One-way economy airfare ticket to Japan

The interested applicant must have excellent academic record in Bachelor’s degree. He/She must have completed or expected to complete 16 years of education. A recommendation from the university president of academic adviser is a must. The student must be under 35 years of age by April 2019. An approval of acceptance is needed as either a postgraduate international research student or a graduate school student and must be registered as Research Student or a Master’s Course Student for April 2019 or October 2019. The attitude to learn is a must and likewise physical and mental health should be evident. An adequate Japanese language is required. Deadline of the application is on March 2018.
