Scholarship details
No one will be left behind especially in education since Bellevue chapter of Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) offers their scholarships to rightful individuals every year. This helps students who chooses to advance their studies in the field of accounting and finance.
This scholarship is moderated by the past president, Tavia Blume, with the help of the panel of speakers who are known on the field. Everyone in the Puget Sound Region, either a full time or part-time students, can avail this opportunity. This scholarship program does not limit students if they want to attend technical or vocational school, universities or colleges. For as long as they aim to pursue a degree in accounting and finance, students are open to apply.
What do student applicants need to qualify? Aside from what is being mentioned above, applicants must have taken basic courses that is related to accounting to show the panel and administration that the applicant have this urge and intention to pursue the said career.
