About the sponsor: BP Group processes

BP is an organization that started in 1908 with the discovery of oil in Persia. BP contributes to the development of education, technology, and skills in Russian industry and business: the company-supported program promotes a wide range of academic and scientific subjects.

However, they believe that they can be most productive when partnering with leading universities around the world and interacting with talented students.

The company’s educational initiatives in Russia include BP scholarships, innovative energy-focused research projects, and support for energy studies professors. And also, its programs are open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young scientists from leading oil, gas, and economic universities in the Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Russian regions.

Over the last 50 years, BP has demonstrated a commitment to communities in the UK through our support of arts and culture, sports, community organizations, and charities and we are also developing talent in our communities, through our support for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.
