Scholarship details
The $8,000 AQHA Youth Scholarship is a foundation committed to helping the dreams of our youth to come true by making higher education more affordable and accessible through scholarships. Today’s youth are the future leaders of our industry.
Institutions where will carry out the studies:
Any accredited university or college.
Who can participate?:
Ideal candidates are members of AQHA or AQHYA who have completed a minimum of three years cumulative membership; are ranked within the upper 25% of their high school graduating class; exhibit an affinity for the advancement of the American Quarter Horse, and demonstrate leadership potential. Members must be a high school or homeschooled senior when applying. Students currently enrolled as a first-year college freshman are not eligible for consideration.
Levels and areas of study:
Any study as long as it tends to a 4-year degree.
