International students who are interested in attending a school in a regional area of Australia may qualify for financial assistance through the Destination Australia program. Students who are awarded this scholarship will have the opportunity to participate in educational opportunities of a high standard in regional areas of Australia.

In the most current Times Higher Education rankings, La Trobe University was ranked at #397, whereas in the Golden Age Rankings, it was ranked at #59. It has a long history of reputable scientific achievements that are well recognized. This university has cutting-edge research facilities located at both its Melbourne and Albury Wodonga campuses.
The principal campus of this educational institution is in Melbourne, the largest city in Australia, and it has the largest metropolitan campus in all of Australia. The company’s research park is dedicated to the creation and development of innovative products through partnerships with regional businesses, universities, and government agencies. Located at the heart of La Trobe University’s Research and Development is the Technology Enterprise Centre (TEC). More than that, it has three additional campuses in other parts of Melbourne. Scholarship Offer:
Two payments of $7,500 each are made annually, following the census dates for the first and second semesters. Payments will be paid for a maximum of three years to new students enrolling in the undergraduate program, and for a maximum of two years to new students enrolling in the postgraduate coursework program.
Eligibility for Scholarship
The following requirements must be met by candidates in order for them to be considered for this scholarship:
- You must be a student from another country who will be beginning their first year of study in a coursework-based undergraduate or postgraduate program during the first semester of 2023.
- Attending classes on a full-time basis at one of the regional campuses of La Trobe University.
- If you currently live in, or have plans to move to, a regional location that the Australian Standard Geographical Classification Remoteness Area ranks as RA2 to RA5, you are eligible for this program. (Make sure the option next to “ASGS Remoteness Areas” is checked for 2016).
With the Bursary, students who don’t receive full support from outside sources can continue their education. Student expenses such as rent, living expenses, child support, and the like may rise unexpectedly and the Bursary is designed to assist them. Submittals for one-year bursaries ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be reviewed by the Economic History Society, which provides financial aid to postgraduate students (PhD) enrolled in UK institutions of higher education.
